Faculty/Guest Hooder Rental Package

This rental package includes a doctoral gown (black velvet for Ph.D. candidates, color velvet indicated with medical degrees), a doctoral hood and an elastic banded velveteen tam with gold tassel.

• • A $15 late fee will be applied on Monday October 12,2026
  • An additional $20 late fee will be applied on Monday November 2, 2026
  • Last day to reserve a rental for Fall 2026 is November 19, 2026
  • Rentals can be picked up at the MSU Union Tower Room on the fourth floor on  December 16th-17th, between 10 AM- 6 PM
  • Rentals are due back BY December 21st, 2026 by 5 PM at the MSU Union Spartan Spirit Shop. Rentals can also be returned at the Auxiliary Gym at Breslin Center on Friday December 17th, right after the Advance Degree Ceremony. 
  • Rentals can be return at the MSU Union Spartan Spirit Shop Saturday December 19th, 10 AM-5PM. Or on Sunday December 20th, 12 PM-5PM.
